Like a father to a son, Jose Sulaiman, president of the World Boxing Council (WBC) wants Filipino boxing star Manny Pacquiao to "decide on his own."
"I don't know who is manipulating him or if he has been manipulated. It is time that he opens his mind and his eyes and start thinking of himself," said Sulaiman, who is in town to preside over the 46th WBC convention beginning Monday at the Manila Hotel.
Reacting to a question in relation to the WBC's order that Pacquiao must challenge reigning superfeatherweight king Juan Manuel Marquez next, Sulaiman told a roomful of newsmen during a special session of the weekly SCOOP yesterday.
